Partner Agencies

Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter

Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter's goal is to help prevent homelessness.  To do so, they provide temporary financial rental assistance through grant-funded housing programs.  The availability of these programs changes through the year, and is offered on a first come, first served basis.  To receive assistance, clients must document a crisis beyond their control, be within HUD provided income limits, and meet Fair Market Rent limits.

To determine if you or your household qualify for housing assistance, you must first contact the Centralized Housing Intake Line at 540-271-1701.  You will be required to leave a message with your name, number, and brief description of your housing crisis. A trained intake coordinator will contact you to complete an assessment.
