With expert legal and counseling resources available nationwide, Veterans Guide stands as a steadfast ally to the veteran community.
Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter's goal is to help prevent homelessness. To do so, we provide temporary financial rental assistance through grant funded housing programs. The availability of these programs changes through the year, and are operated on a first come first serve basis. To receive assistance, clients must document a crisis beyond their control, be within HUD provided income limits, and meet Fair Market Rent limits.
To Determine if you or your household qualifies for housing assistance you must first contact the Centralized Housing Intake Line at 540-271-1701. You will be required to leave a message with your name, number, and brief description of your housing crisis and a trained intake coordinator will contact you and complete an assessment.
